LGU-Camalig provides rice and food packs to families of Patient #4387 from Brgy. Sumlang and Patient#4388 from Brgy. Cotmon, the two (2) recently confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Camalig, Albay.
A total of 14 rice packs and 7 food packs were handed to the families.
As one measure in barring possible transmission of COVID-19 to the community, said families, now classified as close contacts of Patient#4387 and Patient#4388, are directed to stay isolated for at least fourteen (14) days.
The provision of goods aims to cater the basic needs of the close contacts throughout the quarantining/isolation period.
Case Investigation Forms (CIFs), profiles, and linelist will be sent today to the Provincial Health Office (PHO) for swab schedule approval.
To ensure strict implementation of prevention and control protocols, the BHERT activated in the 2 barangays are set to regularly monitor the close contacts, subject for assessment by the Municipal Health Emergency Response Team (MHERT).
