LGU-Camalig provides rice and food packs for households situated at Purok 4, Brgy. Cotmon to ensure that affected families have access to adequate food amid the purok-wide lockdown.
 
Earlier today, Cotmon Punong Barangay Dennise Misolania opted to lockdown Purok 4 in response to one of the town’s recently confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases – Patient#4469.
 
Residents especially close contacts of Patient#4469 were directed to stay at home for at least 14 days, reiterating to said individuals constant practice of public health protocols to prevent possible spread of COVID-19.
 
A total of thirty-five (35) rice packs and 35 food packs were handed to the families as part of LGU-Camalig’s objectives in delivering urgent interventions to safeguard the welfare of its constituents.
 
To date, the municipality of Camalig, Albay has four (4) active cases, Patients #4387 and #4468 from Brgy. Sumlang, and Patients #4388 and #4469 from Brgy. Cotmon.
