The Local Task Force for COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment (LTFCVD) have convened today to tackle preliminary activities in line with the National Vaccination Program, Mayor’s Office conference room, 3rd flr., Mytalic Bldg., Camalig Municipal Hall, Brgy. 2, Poblacion.
 
One of the highlights of said meeting was the finalization of the masterlist of priority population/vaccinees subject for vaccination in the upcoming municipal-wide vaccine rollout.
 
As early as January 2021, the LTFCVD through its Vaccine Deployment Focal Person have been reaching out to the various sectors including Frontline Health Workers, Indigent Senior Citizens and families, Non-Government Agencies (NGAs), faith-based groups, and other stakeholders who will be covered by the vaccination.
 
A total of 4,261 persons have so far been listed and 1,015 persons comprised of Frontline Health Workers have already been submitted to the COVID-19 Electronic Immunization Registry (CEIR) – an online platform devised to accurately cover masterlisting and registration efforts regarding persons to be vaccinated in Camalig, Albay.
 
LGU-Camalig eyes to increase demand generation for vaccination through intensive dissemination of traditional and online Information, Education, Communication (IEC) materials.
 
In compliance to the minimum public health standards and to provide convenience for its constituents, LGU-Camalig plans to implement a cluster-based vaccination in the barangays once the vaccine becomes available.
 
To recall, LGU-Camalig through Executive Order No. 01, s. 2021 created the LTFCVD purposely to oversee the planning, coordination, supervision, and monitoring of all COVID-19 vaccination activities, enforce policies, guidelines, standards and systems as defined in the Administrative Order No. 2021-0005 (National Strategic Policy Framework for COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment and Immunization, and manage funds and resources generated for the campaign.
 
The LTFCVD is set to convene regularly to further strengthen the LGU’s thrust in achieving effective vaccination for the Camaligueños.
