LGU-Camalig regularly distributes rice packs and welfare goods to Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) to ensure that they have access to basic needs throughout the mandatory quarantining/isolation period.
Said PUMs are directed to stay isolated for at least fourteen (14) days, reiterating to said individuals constant practice of public health protocols to bar the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Barangay Health Emergency & Response Teams (BHERTs) activated in each barangay are also regularly monitoring said PUMs, subject for the Municipal Health Emergency Response Team’s (MHERT) overall assessment.
As of February 27, 2021, a total of 4,915 PUMs have completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine, bringing down the total number of remaining PUMs presently housed in the various quarantine/isolation facilities in the municipality to 99.
