In response to the re-emerging threat of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camalig, Albay, the Municipal Health Office (MHO) through its Sanitation Team conducted massive disinfection in all LGU-Camalig offices earlier today.
This activity was carried out due to the recent confirmation by the Department of Health (DOH) regarding Patient#5046 – the town’s 9th COVID-19 case this year, 26th overall, who reportedly visited selected LGU-Camalig offices last week.
LGU-Camalig through the order of Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos Irwin G. Baldo, Jr. closed all its offices at 3 o’clock in the afternoon to give way for said disinfection operations.
To date, the municipality of Camalig, Albay has 26 confirmed COVID-19 cases including 23 recoveries, 2 deaths, and 1 currently active.
Patient#5046 is currently confined at Bicol Regional Training & Teaching Hospital (BRTTH), Legazpi City.
