LGU-Camalig provides rice and food packs to close contacts of Patient#5087 from Brgy. 1, Poblacion – the recently confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) case in Camalig, Albay.
A total of ten (10) rice packs and ten (10) food packs were handed to said individuals.
As one measure in barring possible transmission of COVID-19 to the community, the close contacts are directed to stay isolated for at least fourteen (14) days – the close contacts will also undergo swab testing on a later date.
The provision of goods aims to cater the basic needs of the close contacts throughout the quarantining/isolation period.
To ensure strict implementation of prevention and control protocols, the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) activated in Brgy. 1 is set to regularly monitor the close contacts, subject for assessment by the Municipal Health Emergency Response Team (MHERT).
