LGU-Camalig through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) distributes copies of Executive Order No. 11-2021 to barangay representatives in line with the local government’s advocacy in strengthening community awareness regarding pandemic response.
Executive Order No. 11-2021 otherwise known as, “An Order Amending the Guidelines under the Modified General Community Quarantine in Camalig, Albay” took effect last April 6, 2021 pursuant to the recently issued omnibus guidelines by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
Notable provisions under said executive order include constant compliance to the Department of Health’s (DOH) minimum public health standards, prohibition of contact sports, closure of entertainment venues, regulation of public gatherings, and other stringent Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control precautions.
In response to the leniency of community quarantine guidelines in the province, LGU-Camalig eyes to strengthen its local pandemic response and recovery efforts through the involvement of barangay officials and the entire Camaligueño constituency.
Camalig, Albay has restored its COVID-free status for the 4th time yesterday, April 7, 2021, following the recovery of the town’s two (2) previously COVID-19 positive residents.
