LGU-Camalig through the Municipal Tourism & Cultural Heritage Office (MTCHO) holds meeting with the town’s tourism site operators, MTCHO, Brgy. 2, Poblacion, Camalig, Albay.
Due to the gradual relaxing of the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) guidelines, tourism spots are now allowed to operate provided that staff and guests comply with health standards stated under Executive Order No. 11, s. 2021.
The eight (8) tourist site operators were directed to strictly implement health protocols including social/physical distancing, wearing of face mask/shield, proper hand hygiene and other stringent measures.
Since the reopening of tourist spots and other similar establishments in Camalig, Albay, the MTCHO has been instrumental in the conduct of inspection and monitoring to further prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) while reviving local tourism and economy.
