The Philippine Statistical Research & Training Institute (PSRTI) pays a courtesy call at the Mayor’s Office to introduce agricultural intervention priorities, 3rd flr., Mytalic bldg., Camalig Municipal Hall, Brgy. 2, Poblacion, Camalig, Albay.
PSRTI is set to partner with the Department of Agriculture (DA) in organizing the National Agriculture & Fisheries Modernization & Industrialization Plan (NAFMIP) Baseline Survey – a joint activity which seeks to collect baseline data for key agriculture indicators that will produce evidence-based plans, policies, and programs with the end goal of improving services for farmers.
The PSRTI is scheduled to conduct said survey in Camalig, Albay from April to May, 2021.
As counterpart, LGU-Camalig through the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) commits to extend assistance in the field operations of PSRTI and the DA specifically in identifying and organizing farmers as respondents to the NAFMIP Baseline Survey.
PSRTI is the research and training arm of the Philippine Statistical System (PSS) established by Republic Act 10625 or the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013.
Currently an attached agency of the National Economic & Development Authority (NEDA), its mandates include the conduct of high quality, objective, and statistical research and training for the improvement of information generated by various government agencies.
