Since the launching of the vaccine rollout in Camalig, Albay, the vaccination team under the Local Task Force for COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment (LTFCVD) continuously accommodates vaccinees from the barangays.
Among yesterday’s one hundred and fifty (150) vaccinees was lola Esideria, an 84-year old resident of Brgy. Ilawod.
Lola Esideria stressed her trust and confidence in receiving the first dose of Sinovac by highlighting said jab’s benefit in the adequate protection against Coronavirus (COVID-19).
“Indi man magataw ning bakuna kung ikaguran ning taw, kaya gusto ko magpa-bakuna tabing protektado”, the 84-year old said.
Prior to the vaccination, the vaccination team rendered screening and health assessment to ensure safety and smooth flow of the vaccination process.
In reference to the guidelines set by the Department of Health (DOH), senior citizens like lola Esideria belong to the “priority group A” considering their vulnerability in the COVID-19 pandemic.
