Beneficiaries under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE) are on their 10th day in the conduct of a clean-up drive at the streets and thoroughfares of Brgy. 6 and 7, Poblacion, and Brgy. Tinago, Camalig, Albay.
 
A total of fifty (50) beneficiaries comprised of unemployed and disadvantaged residents have been identified as eligible in the TUPAD and are expected to help barangays in the conduct of road-clearing, beautification, sanitation, and other relative clean and green programs.
 
The beneficiaries are scheduled to work from May 27 until June 10, 2021, and will be paid Php5,000.00 each at the end of the 15-day work schedule.
 
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance carried out purposely to provide emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers especially sectors severely-affected by the impacts of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
