The Department of Public Works & Highways (DPWH) holds a consultation meeting with LGU-Camalig and residents and lot owners of Brgy. Libod, Camalig, Albay in preparation for the upcoming widening of Bascaran Bridge.
Said meeting was carried out to determine viewpoints of the affected residents and lot owners relative to the bridge-widening project.
In consonance with DPWH and LGU-Camalig’s mutual advocacy in intensifying development thrusts through active community engagement, the project aims to ensure convenience and road accessibility for the general public.
This intervention also seeks to sustain one of the mandates under the 12-point Executive Agenda specifically the localized “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure program and Republic Act 11032 otherwise known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018” which seeks to strengthen the delivery of effective public service amid and after the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
