Stated under its latest pronouncements, LGU-Camalig issued Executive Orders No. 29, 30, and 32, highlighting disaster preparedness awareness campaigns and stricter implementation of Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control protocols at the barangay level.
Notable provisions include the public’s compliance with the minimum public health standards set by the Department of Health (DOH), deputation of LGU-Camalig functionaries in the enforcement of Municipal Ordinance No. 15, s. 2021, amendment of age restriction, and privileges of fully-vaccinated individuals pursuant to IATF-EID Resolution No. 124-5.
To maximize effective disaster and pandemic response, the Punong Barangays are expected to constantly coordinate with LGU-Camalig as said directives are in consonance with the local government’s aggressive drive in sustaining its zero-casualty goal and in restoring the town’s COVID-free status.
As of July 14, 2021, the municipality has a total of 181 confirmed COVID-19 cases including 153 recoveries, 13 deaths, and 15 currently active.
