Three (3) newly-assigned Fire Officers at the Camalig Fire Station (Camalig FS) paid a courtesy call at the Mayor’s Office today, 3rd flr., Mytalic bldg., Camalig Municipal Hall, Brgy. 2, Poblacion, Camalig, Albay.
The 3 FOs assumed their duties following the recently conducted recruitment training under the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The officers were also accompanied by Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, INSP Amor O. Laguilles who superseded the command of F/INSP Edgar R. Tañajura, Jr., in May 24, 2021.
Since the implementation of stricter community quarantine classifications specifically the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and the General Community Quarantine (GCQ), Camalig FS has been instrumental in reinforcing LGU-Camalig’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control efforts.
Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos Irwin G. Baldo, Jr. likewise vowed continued partnership with said unit, further expressing continuous support to the bureau’s plans and programs devised to protect the lives of the general public.
