The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) holds a level 3 Disability Inclusive Risk Reduction & Management (DIDRRM) training to residents and sectoral/barangay representatives of Brgy. Mabunga, Camalig, Albay.
 
This initiative was carried out to extend and promote responsive disaster preparedness and response especially in far-flung barangays.
 
During the training, discussions mainly delved in the barangay evacuation planning, tasking of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Councils (BDRRMCs), basic first aid application, and relative simulation exercises.
 
The recent activity is also in observance of the National Resilience Month which highlights the theme, “Tamang Pamamahala’t Kahandaan, Kaalaman at Pagtutulungan sa Sakuna at Pandemya’y Kalasag ng Bayan” which focuses on the LGU and the community’s crucial role in battling the impacts of disasters and the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
 
The DIDRRM training is set to cater residents of Brgy. Maninila and Binanderahan on July 29 and August 2, 2021.
