“An Order Reimplementing Stricter Protocols in Preparation for the Possible Local Threat of Delta COVID-19 Variant in the Municipality of Camalig, Albay”
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
 
Inter-province travel:
• All persons from other provinces within the Bicol Region who plan to travel to Camalig, Albay, whether vaccinated or non vaccinated, Frontliner, Authorized Person Outside of Residence (APOR), children, elderly, and/or foreigner shall initially request for a travel pass (effective 24 hours upon issuance) to be issued by the Camalig Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) before travelling.
 
• In case the travel duration lapsed beyond the 24-hour period, a negative result of Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test/ Salive Test/ Antigen Test shall be required.
 
• Presentation of any valid ID is required in the issuance of Travel Pass/es. No need to provide photocopies of IDs.
 
• Request for the release of Travel Passes shall be accommodated from 7:00AM until 7:00PM daily. Claimers are directed to wear facemasks and bring their own ballpen.

Inter-region travel:
• All persons from areas outside the Bicol Region who plan to travel to Camalig, Albay, whether vaccinated or non vaccinated, Frontliner, Authorized Person Outside of Residence (APOR), children, elderly, and/or foreigner shall present a negative result of Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test/ Salive Test/ Antigen Test which shall be valid only within 3 days from the date of issuance of the duly Department of Health (DOH) accredited facilities.
 
LOCAL INTERVENTIONS
1. The Municipal Health Emergency Response Team (MHERT) and the Municipal Epidemiology & Surveillance Unit (MESU) shall intensify monitoring efforts through the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team activated in each barangay with the augmentation by the Camalig Municipal Police Station (MPS).
 
2. Child Development Centers (CDCs) and other identified facilities in the barangays shall be designated as additional quarantine facilities to maximize LGU-Camalig’s mitigation and containment thrusts.
 
3. Punong Barangays are directed to re-activate their BHERTs to render monitoring activities and report/coordinate with the MHERT/MESU at 09097442937 and/or 09163233493.
 
4. The Municipal Health Office (MHO) is directed to continuously conduct massive vaccination especially for the vulnerable sectors.
 
5. The Camalig MPS, Camalig Fire Station (FS), and MDRRMO are advised to continue monitoring in frequented/high-traffic areas to ensure compliance with the minimum public health standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) and Municipal Ordinance No. 2021-15.
 
6. The Camalig Training Center (CTC) screening/holding area located at Brgy. Salugan shall continue to accommodate all returning individuals for profiling and other COVID-related operations pursuant to Executive Order No. 15, s. 2021.
