WHEREAS, in September 12, 2021, Camalig, Albay recorded a total of 9 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in a single day;
 
WHEREAS, 3 days later, September 15, 2021, the municipality recorded its highest single-day tally of new confirmed COVID-19 cases with a total of 10 increasing the number of active cases in the town to an alarming 30;
 
1. REIMPOSITION OF THE LIQUOR BAN
The selling and consumption of liquors, alcoholic beverages, coconut wines, other nature wines and the like that cause intoxication are hereby prohibited;
 
2. LIMITING OF PUBLIC GATHERINGS
Public gatherings shall be limited to only 30% of the venue or seating capacity. Prior to the conduct of gatherings, the organizer shall initially request for the approval of the Municipal Health Emergency Response Team (MHERT) and such request shall be filed at the Office of the Mayor. Unnecessary or non-COVID related community assemblies in the barangays shall also be canceled;
 
3. MONITORING IN FREQUENTED AREAS
The Camalig Municipal Police Station (MPS), Camalig Fire Station (FS), and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) are directed to continue monitoring operations in frequented/high-traffic areas to ensure compliance with the minimum public health standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) and Municipal Ordinance No. 2021-15;
 
4. MONITORING IN THE BARANGAYS
Barangay officials, representatives, and the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) are directed to increase monitoring of LSIs, APORs, and other arriving individuals in their respective areas of responsibility;
 
5. ISSUANCE OF TRAVEL PASSES & LOEs
The MDRRMO is set to continue issuing letters of exemptions (LOEs) and travel passes for residents of Camalig who plan to travel outside the province within the Bicol Region whether vaccinated or non vaccinated, Frontliner, Authorized Person Outside of Residence (APOR), children, elderly, and/or foreigner shall initially request for a travel pass (effective 24 hours upon issuance);
 
6. PUBLIC COOPERATION
The general public is encouraged to immediately report incidents regarding violators of quarantine/isolation protocols, liquor ban, curfew hours, and Municipal Ordinance No. 2021-15;

This Executive Order shall take effect at 1:00PM of September 15, 2021 and shall remain valid and in effect in the entire municipality unless otherwise amended, modified or repealed by a subsequent Executive Order
