Personnel under the Municipal Tourism & Cultural Heritage Office (MTCHO) hold safety inspection at business establishments as part of LGU-Camalig’s drive in promoting safe local tourism amid the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The activity is being conducted to determine and ensure compliance of establishments with the minimum public health standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) including social/physical distancing, wearing of face masks/shields, and proper hand hygiene.
The inspection ops are also in line with the continuous implementation of the Safety Seal which aims to increase compliance of private and public facilities with said minimum public health standards pursuant to Executive Order No. 20, s. 2021.
MTCHO has also been active in the distribution of copies of Executive Order No. 39, s. 2021 which provisions highlight the reimplementation of the “no dine-in, take out only” policy to limit contact between diners and staff.
