LGU-Camalig issues Executive Order No. 40, s. 2021 otherwise known as, “An Order Reimplementing the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) in the Municipality of Camalig, Albay
 
Salient provisions under GCQ:
1.1 Minimum public health standards as prescribed by the DOH and such related protocols or guidelines issued by the appropriate government shall be complied with at all times for the duration of the GCQ such as:
• social/physical distancing
• wearing of face mask/shield
• proper hand hygiene
• cough etiquette
 
1.2 Following persons will not be allowed to leave the house (except listed as APOR (Authorized Person Outside of Residence) and/or engaging in Indispensable Travel/purposes):
• Children (0 – 14 years old)
• Elderly (65 years old and above)
• People with high-risk health issues
• Pregnant Women
 
1.3 Curfew hours is in effect (9:00PM to 4:00AM)
 
1.4 Outdoor non-contact sports and other forms of exercise such as but not limited to walking, jogging, running, biking, tennis, badminton, range shooting, and skateboarding are allowed provided that the minimum public health standards and no sharing of equipment where applicable are observed. Contact sports such as but not limited to basketball and volleyball in which players have a heightened possibility of making any form of purposeful or accidental physical contact are prohibited;
 
1.5 The selling and consumption of liquors, alcoholic beverages, coconut wines, other nature wines and the like that cause intoxication are hereby prohibited; entertainment venues shall likewise be closed along with the prohibition of videoke singing;
 
1.6 Gatherings outside of residences shall be prohibited. Gatherings at residences with any person outside of one’s immediate household shall likewise be prohibited. However, gatherings that are essential for the provision of health and rescue services shall be allowed;
 
1.7 Mass gatherings such as but not limited to weddings and confirmations shall be prohibited;
 
1.8 Barber shops, salons, and other personal care service establishments shall be allowed to operate at a maximum of 30% venue capacity;
 
1.9 Dine in at restaurants and food stores shall be allowed provided that the seating capacity may not exceed 50%;
 
1.10 The Camalig Public Market shall close as early as 6:00PM daily to minimize public interaction;
