LGU-Camalig issues Executive Order No. 41, s. 2021 in anticipation of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day where possible transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) may be heightened due to religious/mass gatherings within cemeteries.
Section 1. Precautions for public safety
1.1 All public and private cemeteries and columbariums in the municipality of Camalig, Albay shall be closed from October 30 to November 3, 2021;
1.2 The public is directed to visit before and/or after abovementioned dates;
1.3 Minimum public health standards such as but not limited to, social/physical distancing, wearing of face masks/shields shall be observed;
1.4 During the allowed visiting dates, cemeteries shall observe 30% maximum capacity.
Section 2. Public movement restriction under GCQ
2.1 Following persons will not be allowed to leave the house (except listed as APOR (Authorized Person Outside of Residence) and/or engaging in Indispensable Travel/purposes):
• Children (0 – 14 years old)
• Elderly (65 years old and above)
• People with high-risk health issues
• Pregnant Women
2.2 Curfew hours are in effect (9:00PM – 4:00AM) as per EO 25-2021 (7:00PM – 5:00AM for Brgy. Cotmon only)
2.3 Liquor ban is still in effect
Section 3. Monitoring in subject areas
3.1 The Camalig Municipal Police Station (MPS), Camalig Fire Station (FS), and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) are directed to render monitoring operations in the cemeteries to ensure compliance with this executive order;
3.2 Barangay officials and representatives are likewise directed to augment the MDRRMO, Camalig FS, and Camalig MPS’ monitoring operations
