Trainings included in the Tile Setting NC II are currently being held at the Camalig Training Center (CTC), Brgy. Salugan, Camalig, Albay.
Tile Setting NC II is a short course under the construction-related programs of the Technical Education & Skills Development Authority (TESDA) which seeks to train students in laying and/or repairing floor and wall tiles.
Trainees under the Tile Setting NC II are expected to complete a hundred and seventeen (117) hours of free competency-based trainings through flexible learning delivery modes.
Said course is also incorporated under the Barangay Assistance and Livelihood Development Opportunities (BALDO) program of LGU-Camalig purposely implemented to equip residents with necessary skills and capabilities for the promotion of suitable employment and livelihood opportunities.
Sponsored by Albay 2nd District Representative, Congressman, Hon. Joey Sarte Salceda in partnership with TESDA Provincial Office headed by Director Ruth E. Dayawen, the initiative likewise forms part of the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) wherein trainees are given starter tool kits and allowance.
