Personnel under the Municipal Tourism & Cultural Heritage Office (MTCHO) hold safety inspection at business establishments and tourist spots as part of LGU-Camalig’s drive in promoting safe local tourism.
The activity is being conducted to determine and ensure compliance of the subject areas with the minimum public health standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) including social/physical distancing, wearing of face masks/shields, and proper hand hygiene.
Due to the reimplementation of the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) in the entire province, food establishments and tourist spots in the town are now permitted to operate provided that staff and guests comply with said Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention and control protocols.
The inspection ops are also in line with the continuous implementation of the Safety Seal which aims to increase compliance of private and public facilities with said minimum public health standards pursuant to Executive Order No. 20, s. 2021.
