The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) jointly conduct an information drive to the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Councils (BDRRMCs) of Binanderahan and Cabraran Pequeño.
Said intervention is being conducted to extend and strengthen the disaster preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities, and fire safety awareness of BDRRMCs especially far-flung barangays.
Regarding the lives of Camaligueños as top priority, the MDRRMO and BFP relayed life-saving strategies and initiatives under the Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan, covering the scope of community readiness, cooperation, companionship, and protective care.
The activity is also in observance of month of July as the National Disaster Resilience Month which focuses on the LGU and the community’s crucial role in battling together the impacts of disasters and the pandemic to foster a strong and progressive New Normal.
