For the first time in Camalig, Albay, a total of seventy-five (75) couples are set to tie the knot on the CAmaligtuLOY po ang kasal: A Masked Mass Civil Wedding this December 16, 2022 at Quituinan Hills, Brgy. Tinago.
This was the official conclusion of the mass wedding’s core team who have convened to discuss logistical requirements and designate functions/tasks to ensure successful results of the 1-day event.
LGU-Camalig opted to conduct the mass wedding to address the increasing percentage of children with unwed parents as per data from the Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR).
The core team plans to provide a full decorated mass wedding featuring free make up for brides, free arrays, free bouquets, a same day edit (SDE) coverage, photobooths, grazing tables, bento cakes, projectors, and catering services – the wedding will highlight a white, green, and orange motif.
To maximize public safety, health emergency responders under the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and personnel under Camalig Municipal Police Station (MPS) will be in full alert before, during, and after the activity.
