Facilitated and funded through the Gender and Development (GAD) fund of LGU-Camalig in partnership with the CamaliGayños Inc., Gayon Cares, and the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), the activity seeks to further promote the rights of the LGBTQ community with the end goal of protecting said individuals from societal harm and discrimination.
The activity likewise forms part of LGU-Camalig’s advocacy in providing safe spaces for LGBTQ members, highlighting the local government’s full support in mainstreaming LGBTQ rights as equal citizens and viable partners in local development.
