Families affected by flood receive welfare goods from LGU-Camalig through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWDO.
The intervention is being carried out to address the basic needs of flood-stricken households especially amid the recent weather disturbance.
In an advisory released yesterday, LGU-Camalig directed barangay chiefs and functionaries to implement respective contingency plans, monitor weather condition, and render evacuation of residents in high-risk (lahar/flood/landslide-prone) areas if necessary.
