
130 foreign tourists onboard the Hanseatic Nature Cruise Ship touched down in Camalig, Albay as they went on the Camalig Adventour.
The tourists went around the town and visited Quituinan Ranch, Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave, Quitinday Hills, Solong Eco Park, and Sumlang Lake as part of their itinerary’s highlights.

To maximize peace and order, and public safety, personnel under the Municipal Tourism & Cultural Heritage Office (MTCHO), Camalig Municipal Police Station (MPS), Camalig Fire Station (FS), Municipal Health Office (MHO), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO), and Regional Force Mobile Battalion (PNP) were mobilized at strategic areas.
In a statement, Municipal Tourism Officer, Mr. Jed L. Villanueva reiterated that LGU-Camalig’s continuous and strong tourist hospitality complements the local government’s tourism development plan, which aims to promote Camalig’s tourism industry while preserving its unique identity and character.
