LOOK | Market vendors are now seen setting up “papag” and other stalls as “Saud” or market days resume tomorrow, May 2, 2023.

Last week, Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo, Jr. announced the official resumption of the market days to restore the livelihood of vendors and provide convenience to market-goers.

Mayor Caloy also stopped by at the commercial district to check the readiness of vendors and the area’s capacity, considering that public safety, peace and order, and cleanliness fall among the priorities of the local government.

In March 16, 2020, Mayor Caloy shut down market days through Executive Order No. 15 to combat Coronavirus (COVID-19) transmission by limiting public movement, convergence, and physical interaction particularly observed especially during Tuesdays and Fridays.
