In a bid to further boost conducive learning and teaching, LGU-Camalig, through the Gender and Development (GAD) and Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) distributed 120 chairs and 18 tables to Community Learning Centers (CLCs) across Camalig, Monday, September, 23, 2024.
Through this initiative, the Salugan, Libod, Pariaan, Taladong, Tagaytay, and Del Rosario CLCs received 20 chairs and 3 tables each, purposely to support their Alternative Learning System (ALS) program.
Camalig Mayor Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr., GAD Focal Person Chyrel San Andres and LYDO Anne Mostaza personally handed said assistance to the ALS teachers from the CLCs.
The activity further highlights the local government’s maximized efforts to support education by contributing said assistance, aimed to encourage participation and engagement among the teachers and learners.
