The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) hosts a three-day psychosocial assessment and evaluation program for 23 children at the Mytallic Bldg., Camalig Municipal Hall, Camalig, Albay.
Led by Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician Dr. Ma. Kriselda P. Alonzo, M.D., DPPS, the assessment, which included both Special Education (SPED) learners and children both referred by their teachers and parents, aimed to gain a deeper understanding of each child’s individual needs.
The results will be used to develop personalized interventions and support services to ensure that all children receive appropriate care and education.
This initiative complements one of the mandates under the 12-point executive agenda of Camalig Mayor Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo, Jr., which seeks to promote inclusivity and equitable access to healthcare and education for all children, ensuring that no child is left behind.
