The 3-day Training Workshop in Crafting the Local Transport Route Plan of the LGU of Camalig, Albay, led by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-Region V (LTFRB) at the Wyndale Hotel in Brgy. Baligang, recently concluded with the motion of updating and enhancing the LPTRP.
 
During the last day of the activity, the participants, which include LGU-Camalig department heads, officials, and functionaries, conducted a mock Terminal Dispatch, Traffice Volume Count (TVC), and Passenger Load Count (PLC) survey at poblacion areas of Camalig, Albay to optimize passenger movement, collect traffic volume data, and understand passenger load distribution.
 
Following the mock survey, the training concluded with the Capacity-Building and Technical Assistance Session, which was attended by Local Chief Executive Hon. CarlosCaloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr., Municipal Councilor Hon. Sheila Marie Dino, and Mr. Joel R. Defeo, Regional Director of LTFRB-Region V.
 
The team formed crucial ways forward and development strategies to enhance the LPTRP, prevent road crash incidents, and strengthen the public transport system of Camalig, Albay.
