The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-Region V (LTFRB), in partnership with LGU-Camalig, spearheaded a 3-day training workshop, capacity building, and technical session participated in by Town Mayor Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr., Municipal Councilor Hon. Sheila Marie Dino, LGU-Camalig department heads, officials, and functionaries on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

 

The activity, held at the Wyndale Hotel in Brgy. Baligang, aims to implement preventive measures for road crash incidents, update the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP), and strengthen the public transport system of Camalig, Albay.

 

Participants of the activity are set to engage in various activities including in-depth discussions, forums, breakout activities, quizzes, and a traffic simulation led by Mr. Honeylon Valera, Ms. Eloisa Donor, Mr. Dave Belleza, Mr. Mark Canlas, and Mr. Jerome San Agustin.

 

In a statement, Baldo encouraged the implementation of bolstered traffic rules and regulations to further ensure the safety of commuters and strengthen the public transport system of Camalig, Albay.
