LOOK: Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. welcomed graduating students taking the Bachelor of Science in Social Work at Bicol University College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (BU CSSP), who are set to have their Field Instruction II under the KALAHI-CIDSS, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and various relocation sites in town starting today until the last week of April 2024.
“Ang social worker dapat mahaba ang pasensya, dapat nasa puso ang pag-serbi”, Mayor Caloy said as he encouraged the interns to stay committed to delivering humanitarian services, which ought to ensure the welfare of the community, particularly during tough times.
The Mayor further considered that social work is a profession that supports many of the government’s program standards and policies for community development and sustainability.
