LOOK: The second batch of barangay officials, appointed secretaries, and treasurers around Camalig, Albay, participated in the last day of workshop on Barangay Gender and Development (GAD) Planning and Budgeting held at the Camalig Training Center, Brgy. Salugan.
The workshop has discussed various key points on formulating gender-responsive programs, projects, and initiatives (PPAs) at the grassroots level, bearing with the local government’s accounting rules and regulations towards an equitable allocation of resources.
Mayor Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. advised the brgy. officials and members to consider programs, projects, and initiatives (PPAs) that are firmly rooted in the local government’s goal of developing empowered, responsive, and rights-abiding local communities by providing basic services and facilities for livelihood opportunities, child welfare, and quality education.
