To commemorate women as trailblazers of business innovations, LGU-Camalig has launched a one-day trade fair featuring 14 exhibitors, comprised of women entrepreneurs and community sectors, and their rich variety of food and non-food products.
 
Mayor Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. echoed that the activity further aims to help the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) establish networks in the mainstream market and raise output productivity.
Named as “Women’s Month Celebration Trade Fair”, the product exhibition has showcased sweet delicacies, snacks, weaves and handcrafted products, home-made soaps, perfumes, and more, exhibiting senses of novelty, creativity, and perseverance of women in the field of business.
 
Mayor Caloy, along with Municipal Councilors, Hon. Purisima Victoria “Ching” Nocedo, Hon. Abegail “Begs” Go, Hon. Shiela Marie Dino, Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer (LEDIPO) Ms. Karen Bolaños, and LGU-Camalig employees graced the ribbon-cutting ceremony held at Camalig Municipal Grounds.
