In partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), the Municipal Health Office (MHO) has started the 3-day Integrated Clinic Information System (iClinicSys) training for its personnel as a crucial step towards automating clients’ health and medical records.

“Kaypwan ta mag-upgrade. Kung piga gibo na yan san iba, kaya ta man yan gibuhon,” said Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr., urging the health personnel to be adaptive to the changes, as this will bring exceptional healthcare services that are transparent and cost-effective.

The iClinicSys is an electronic medical record and health information system which can be used by the LGUs for its health services to help manage the patient demographics, medical histories, diagnosis treatments, medications, laboratory requests, and generate the required data for the use of clients and the institution.

Mayor Caloy added that by enhancing the quality and clarity of records, it may offer increased accessibility and streamlined workflow, which can improve data management and lessen the frequency of medical errors.

LGU-Camalig has been pushing for the modernization of its system and various government transactions to ensure transparency and promote the ease of doing business.
