Said initiative aims to inform the barangays with the target implementation of the Project, Programs, and Activities (PPAs) in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture Regional Office 5 (DA-RO5) and LGU-Camalig, which focuses on the preparation of Rabies Awareness Month, timely recording of the situational status of swine production and rabies incidence in the barangay, and updating of the municipal agricultural profile of agri-products like rice, vegetables, livestock, and the number of fingerling raisers and growers in town.

 

In addition, MAO wants to establish a farmer and livestock association in each barangay in Camalig to promote shared interests among farmers and ensure their involvement in the creation and execution of policies and program for agricultural development.
