In an effort to improve the competitiveness of Camalig’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and tourism sectors, the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) Negosyo Center, in collaboration with LGU-Camalig, has launched a comprehensive training on Digital Marketing, Trends & Techniques, at the Black Pepper Resto, Brgy. Salugan.

As part of the Business Development Program facilitated by the Local Economic Development & Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), said initiative aims to empower local businesses by equipping them with the skills to navigate the fast-evolving digital landscape, helping them to understand the digital marketing ecosystem and carry out new strategies to reach wider audiences and market share.

Said activity also complements Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo, Jr.’s mandate to plan and implement innovative ways to improve the livelihood of local businesses in the town, with the end goal of promoting inclusive growth, as he regards MSMEs as one of the backbones of the economy.
