LGU-Camalig, under the leadership of Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo, Jr., is one with all the cities and municipalities of the Province of Albay in celebrating its founding anniversary, as declared under Republic Act No. 11119.

 

According to noted Bicolano historian, Dr. Danilo Madrid Gerona, Albay was founded in April 3, 1574. The province is celebrating its 450th anniversary today and looks ahead to lasting growth and progress for the years to come.
