A food park in Camalig, Albay, has officially opened with a great selection of affordable yet high-quality products made by local entrepreneurs.

Camalig Local Chief Executive, Hon. Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. stated that the improved food park intends to spark economic development for local businesses, stimulate job opportunities, and serve as a platform for food-based tourism promotion, offering both residents and visitors an enriched opportunity to explore and appreciate the unique culinary traditions of Camalig.

Dubbed as “Kanto Food Park,” the spot is strategically located at one of the corner streets of the market site in Brgy. 5 and 6, displaying a diverse buffet of meals and snacks and creating a new place for family and friends to hang out and enjoy a unique flavorful experience that suits everyone’s taste buds.

Spearheaded by the Market Administration led by Mr. Mateo Nebres, and in close collaboration with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO), the recently opened hub further tends to address the shifting prospects of the market by continuously involving food innovations and excellent customer service.

The Kanto Food Park is open from Monday to Saturday, 4pm to 10pm, serving a variety of menus to indulge in.
