To continuously support its advocacy toward sustaining zero-casualty during disaster and rescues, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Camalig led by Municipal Mayor Carlos “Caloy” Irwin G. Baldo Jr. and Municipal Vice Mayor Maria Ahrdail “Ding” G. Baldo, handed over a new multi-purpose vehicle for the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

With this, MDRRMO can continue to ensure 24/7 rescue during life-threatening situations, while simultaneously institutionalize resiliency programs to guarantee the welfare of every Camaligueño, in line with the local government’s unrelenting dedication in safeguarding the lives of its people.

A blessing ceremony was also conducted which was attended by Mayor Caloy, members of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB), Camalig Fire Station (FS) and Camalig Municipal Police Station (MPS) officers, and LGU-Camalig heads and functionaries.
